Saturday Night Lights

Tonight I drove the family through a Christmas lights display that I had seen from a distance when I was running an errand the other night. I had seen the lights from the back of the neighborhood, and it really looked like something to see. So, I made a mental note of the neighborhood, and took Kevin and the boys back to see the show. I thought that maybe there was a neighborhood lighting contest, but it turns out that I had really stumbled on something special!

There is an entire street of houses with synchronized lights set to music being broadcast over a radio station! The display is spectacular - both Kevin and I feel like it is the best we've ever seen. Connor said, "This is really great!"

There is even a website for the neighborhood lights display.

Bonus Saturday Night Blog Topic:

Tonight, before bed, I said a prayer with Connor. Then I asked him if he wanted to say his own bedtime prayer. It went something like this:

"Jesus, thank you...don't let the guy who steals Christmas come here...mumbling...works in outer space...mumbling...go to Florida sometime soon...amen."
