Trolley Tour of Nashville

We took a Gray Line Trolley Tour of Nashville.

Bicentennial Mall State Park. Awesome place. I would love to go back and spend a day there. These are 50 bell towers, representing the 50 states, and they chime every 15 minutes. We heard them, and they were very pretty. There is also a granite wall timeline of every significant event, beginning with God creating the Earth. Then, there are sealed time capsules from each of the counties of Tennessee, and they will be opened on the 300th anniversary of Tennessee (in 2097).

Also on my to-do list for a return trip to Nashville: A tour of the Parthenon in Centennial Park.

what a fun trip! I've been "TO" Nashville once---my dad took me out of school (senior yr) to go to a baseball card show at the Opryland Hotel--I was mostly there for company--though I did meet Pete Rose and Mr. Coffee:D Other than that, I drove around the scary downtown interstate area--so busy! several times en route to FLA; I guess we should have stopped and had some fun:D
