My good friend Julie made her daughter a felt board, and so for her birthday, we made her a few felt friends to add to her collection. I was surprised at how fun and easy it was to make little felt people. Here is what I made:

Yes! That's where I always saw them, too...in Sunday school. I think I had a small one when I was little. My boys have three smallish ones: a dinosaur set, a pirate set, and the Easter bunny brought them a new astronaut set. Other than that, they are widely employed during our library story times. Now there is even a large one that they can play with in the kids section of the library. *Love* the library!

I LOVE that felt boards still exist! I never had one myself, but I associate them so strongly with Sunday School lessons in church.
