Limited Time Pool Engagement

Yesterday it was sunny and 85 degrees. Connor asked if we could get his pool out, since it was so hot. He has wanted to get the pool out for the last month or so, but it has been so rainy and wet that we haven't been able to do it. Since it looked like a good day, we got the pool out and the boys played in it for hours.

Lex couldn't even wait for Grandma Ella to finish filling the pool!

The boys invited Logan over for another swim after dinner, and the three of them went for a twilight swim. It started getting very dark around 7:30, so I decided to call it a night. Just as I was finishing up cleaning up the backyard and putting the pool away, it began to rain.

It's been raining off and on ever since. And it's never going to stop!

There was a bright spot last night, after the rain, the sky lightened back up again and there was a beautiful, huge rainbow. We took the boys out in the rain in their jammies to see it.
