17!!
Do I look 17? I am practically twice that age! And I was with my two young children.
******************************
Today, we received a letter from our health insurance company. Apparently, they had sent a check to Connor on May 14, 2011 for $815,824.62, and they had determined that they had overpaid. They were requesting that Connor refund $60 from that check within 45 days of the date of the letter. This is, obviously, absurd.
So, I called the insurance company, and reported our check #80254149 in the amount of $815,824.62 missing, and advised them that as soon as we received the said check, that I would be glad to satisfy their refund request. If only.
That of course, set off a claims investigation, and I was informed that I received the letter in error. Obviously. When I asked if this claim (which I have now had to call five different people about) was finally going to be processed correctly, I was simply told to disregard the letter. To be honest, I am less than confident that this matter is going to be resolved properly anytime soon. Who knows...maybe I will receive a check for $815,824.62. Once I do, I will refund their $60 and go on a permanent vacation.
