Connor couldn't wait for Daddy to get home tonight so that he could show him The Completed Death Star.
I mean, look how excited and happy this kid is. Seriously.
The Completed Death Star in all its Glory
Construction on the Death Star began on October 16, 2011.
Construction was completed on November 22, 2011.
It took 38 days to put together all 3,803 pieces.

Now that we have put this thing all together, Connor is happy to play with it. It has a bunch of different rooms, and all sorts of movable parts.
This TIE Fighter comes off the hangar and flies around the room. But as Lex found out, it doesn't really fly unless you throw it. And then when it hits the wall, it breaks into pieces.
The walls of the trash compactor actually compact!
The best part is listening to him re-enact the movies. He has only seen about one-half of Phantom Menace, as he wasn't very interested in a Star Wars movie that didn't involve Darth Vader and the Death Star, but he has now seen all of the final 3 movies. You know, the original ones that feature Darth Vader and the Death Star, Luke and Hans Solo.
