Each month, we stand in line at the local Lego store to participate in the Monthly Mini-Build. Last month we built a turkey. This month we built a nutcracker.
Just like last month, we got in line around 4pm. For the record, they start handing out the Legos at 5pm, but the line is usually so long that if you aren't in it by 4:30, you won't be able to participate.
Just like last month, we were one of the first people in line, outside of the store. Unlike last month, though, this month it was cold. Like really cold. And with a freezing mist going on. I'm not sure what we are going to do about next month. I really don't fancy standing outside in a line in the snow in early January, but Connor already knows that the mini-build for next month is a snake, and he wants to do it. Let's all try to talk him out of it, shall we?
How early do you have to get in line to get a coveted inside-the-store spot in the line? It's nuts, I tell you. And someone should put a stop to it. Except, look how cute the stupid little nutcrackers are...
