We love good books. But I also really like it when the book has extra educational value, without compromising the story that keeps the boys asking to read it again and again.
This book by Wendy Ulmer is a fantastic and entertaining book about a bunny who counts balloons. It introduces addition, subtraction and multiplication in an easy way. The bunny also counts by ones, twos, fives and tens, and it all works into the storyline seamlessly.
We explored many different mythology for children books, and this one by Heather Alexander was the best by far. The stories were clear and entertaining, and there were plenty of explanatory notes to help make sense of the world of Greek Mythology.
