The Quest for the Official Christmas 2011 Family Photo

It was a beautiful Christmas day. The weather was mild and sunny. We were sitting in Nana's Moose Lodge when I caught a glimpse of the huge pine tree in my parents' back yard. That's when it happened. When I had my brilliant idea.

"Let's go outside and take some family photos by that tree," I said.

You can see what he is thinking.

"Why did mom make me put on this sweater just to go stand by this tree?"

and

"Where is everyone else?"

Kevin: "Oh, no. I think I blinked. Take it again."

Julie: "No, wait a minute. Lex, come back here!"

Kevin: "Lex, come back!"

Lex: Running, running, running as fast as can be.

Julie: Running, running, running...
chasing as fast as I can in heels in muddy grass.

Lex: Runs behind shed.

Bunny with a fluffy white tail: Runs out from behind shed.
Clearly terrified.

All: "Look, a bunny!"

Lex: Fall into a huge mud puddle behind shed and cry.

Mission aborted.
