More about our day at the Grand Canyon

We saw everything at the South Rim Grand Canyon National Park that was accessible without taking a park shuttle bus. We started at the South Entrance in the morning and saw the view from Mather Point.

The kids were *not* interested in the ruins at all.
They were pretty sure that they were just piles of rocks shaped like squares.
Which they pretty much were.

Thanks. They are from Janie and Jack. My mom loves that store! (So do I, actually, but my mom was the one who bought them the polar bear sweaters.)

Oh, I just discovered Janie and Jack the other day (CUTE place!), right next door to an Auntie Ann's that I had no idea we had!!
