Grandpa walked in and we all yelled "Surprise!" No, he doesn't look surprised at all, does he? That's because it wasn't a surprise party at all. It just seemed like the thing to do.

His favorite thing is the wiener schnitzel. We just tell Connor and Lex that it's a huge chicken nugget, and they eat it up. Don't anyone tell them that it's actually veal. I will smack you with a wooden spoon if you do.

Cousin Taj
One of Lex's favorite things to do when he is with his Uncle Kris is to touch the ceiling.
Props to Uncle Kris. That ceiling was very high, and Lex weighs a good 35 pounds.

There was birthday cake.
The little kids. Some of these are his grandchildren and some are great-grandchildren. That makes them all cousins, but some are first cousins once removed, and some are second cousins. Is your head hurting yet, Aunt Sherry?
