Autumn Homeschool Week

Last week our homeschool theme was autumn.

Lex made this wreath at the Lakeshore Learning Store during their Saturday craft, at the beginning of our autumn-themed homeschool week.

We also did some leaf rubbings.

We took a nature hike to find a pine cone to use in a science experiment.  Did you know that the scales on a pine cone close if you put it in water?  Then, they reopen as it drys out again.
