Instead of going shopping on Black Friday, we went to Pittsburgh to do a little sightseeing.
The very first destination on our agenda, of course, was the Steelers Stadium:
While we were there, at 9:00 AM that Friday morning, there were people in the parking lots tailgating. We knew that the Steelers game that weekend was being held on Sunday in Cleveland, so we had to ask what was going on.
We discovered that the Pennsylvania State High School Football Semi-Finals and Championship games were going to take place that day. The tickets would go on sale in about an hour, and the gates would open at the same time. It seemed like a great idea, and we were totally going to do it, until it started raining.
It was too cold and rainy for us, so we went to the Carnegie Science Center next door instead.
Current Status of Connor's NFL Stadium Project:
10 down. 22 stadiums to go!
