Mustard, with the Candlestick, in the Bedroom

Connor got Clue for Christmas from Aunt Ann.

clue

It was a perfect gift because he loves board games, and we didn't have a copy of it yet.

I think it might be his new favorite thing, next to his Steelers football that he carries everywhere and sleeps with.  He comes and wakes me up first thing in the morning so that I can play it with him.  I'm talking about Clue before 7:00 AM.  He takes Clue with us whenever we go visit anyone.  I make him leave it at home for routine trips to the grocery store, though.

So, we have been playing a lot of Clue around here lately.  I would estimate that we probably play a good dozen games every day.  Often, it's just me and Connor.  But we always play a few with Daddy, too.  If anyone else is around, they will be roped into at least one game of Clue, quite possibly more.  Connor is very persistent.

Connor and Lex have even developed a version of the game where we run around the house with the cards and go into the different rooms of our house and make guesses about which cards are in the envelope.  That's the version of the game that Lex likes to join in.  Our hallway is now the Courtyard, and the loft is now the Study, and our front living room has been renamed the Game Room, so that our house matches with the game board.

Even though I know it's totally random each time we put those three cards in the murder envelope, I have to say that out of all the games we have played, that Mustard is one shady fellow.
