Think Outside the Brick

We finally made it to the Columbus Art Museum to see their temporary Lego exhibition, Think Outside the Brick: The Creative Art of Lego.  And it was fabulous.  The boys and I had a great time.  The main exhibit area was filled with interesting Lego art pieces, and then we found a room showing all sorts of Lego videos.  We even ran into some Legos in other parts of the museum, including a place where we could build our own Lego sculptures out of all white bricks.

Paul Janssen is an associate professor at The Ohio State University.  This scale model is constructed from more than one million Lego bricks, and it took more than 1,000 hours to complete.
