Have You Ever Had Turkish Delight?

Well, we hadn't either.  But Kevin found some when he was ordering nuts from nuts.com, and then we were all able to try it.





Of course trying out the Turkish Delight prompted us to start reading The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe to Connor and Lex.  Connor loves the story, and I think once we are done with the book, I will let him see the movie version.  He's been asking to see it for a while now.

I thought that the candy was delicious.  Kind of like a giant marshmallow-flavored jelly bean.  But good golly is it ever rich and sweet!  One piece is almost too many, and you definitely need something to wash it down.

I can't imagine eating an entire box of it, like Edmund does in the story.
