In which I took Connor and Lex to the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History

...and took only four photos.  (Sorry, Mom!)  We were just too busy seeing all the sights to be bothered with the camera, I guess.

The one exhibit that I did think was interesting enough to pull the camera out of my purse to document forever was the replica of the aluminum pyramid that sits atop the Washington Monument:

Lex wanted to take it home with us.  Those people at the Smithsonian knew what they were doing when they installed the display, though.

The other moment I photographed was this:

Connor and Lex wearing their 3D glasses.  

We saw the Flying Monsters 3D IMAX movie about flying dinosaurs.  It was really good.  And only at the very end did a gigantic flying dinosaur come straight at Lex and scare him.  But then it was over so it was no big deal.
