Kevin's brother Kris was graduating from the University of Toledo, so we packed the kids up and went to stay with my brother Kevin (who also lives in Toledo) in order to be there for the auspicious event. (In case you are new around here, yes, there are a lot of Kevins.)
Anyways, the night before graduation, we all went to dinner at Pizza Papalis in downtown Toledo, home of some pretty tasty Chicago-style deep dish pizza.
And now, for the photos:

Letting the kids make their own pizzas is genius. The deep dish pizzas take about 40 minutes to cook, and the thin crust ones don't take nearly that long. So by making the kids' pizzas at the table before putting them in the oven, it keeps the kids occupied for some of that 40 long minute wait.
But, Lex still got antsy, so Kevin took him outside for a walk. Well, next door to Pizza Papalis in downtown Toledo is the stadium where the Toledo Mud Hens play baseball. And, since it was May 4th, the whole game had a Star Wars theme. Lex met Darth Vader, who gifted him with two authentic Toledo Mud Hens kazoos.
We also watched the running of the Kentucky Derby on TV while we were waiting for our pizza.

After we were done eating, we went next door to check on the baseball game, and we watched Chewy throw the first pitch of the game.
But then it was time to call it a night and try to get these two little guys in bed before our early morning wake-up call for the graduation ceremony.
