Central Ohio Homeschool Field Day

The end of the school year is the traditional time for field day, and it is no different with homeschoolers.  This year we participated in the Homeschool Field Day at our rec center, which is the same place where Connor takes his homeschool swim and gym classes.

There were about 150 homeschool students of all ages, and there were all sorts of fun games and relays.

This relay was funny, because the toilet paper kept falling off the plunger.

During this relay, the kids had to carry their beach stuff down the field, then set up a blanket, put on sunglasses and lay down and read a magazine, before hopping up and packing everything back in the bag and running back to the starting line.

The weather for Field Day was perfect.  It was hot and sunny, so there were plenty of water games to cool the kids off.

We all took a break for a picnic lunch.

There were popsicles a plenty.
