In which we go bowling

When Connor lost his first tooth, he asked if we could do a special outing to celebrate.  I asked him what he had in mind, and he informed me that he wanted to go bowling when his friend Logan came to visit.

And so we did.

Did you notice the ramp that Lex and Logan were using to bowl? I have never seen anything like it before, but the lady behind the counter offered it to us when she saw the little ones who were going to be bowling. And it was great, because usually when Lex goes bowling, his balls only make it halfway down the lane before they run out of steam and get stuck.

Connor was bowling with two different balls. For his first shot down the lane, he was using a 10 lb ball to try to knock down as many pins as possible. Then, he used the 6 lb ball for his second shot so that he could aim a little better at the remaining pins. He came up with that strategy all on his own, and it was pretty effective.

You know when you have been using your phone to take videos and then you want to take a photo but have forgotten to switch it back? And then you end up with a clip like this?

And by the time you figure it all out the kids are done posing.

Well, here is the shot that I finally got:
