Amarillo Museum of Art

We went with our local homeschool group to the art museum.  It was a lovely event.  We had great tour guides, and we got to make an art project in the art lab.

The only thing I took a photo of on our tour was this head of Dvarapala.  He's a gate keeper and usually found on buildings in the Hindu and Buddist parts of the world.  I  love him.  He's both scary and comical.

I think that they both turned out very nice.

I really enjoyed the art museum.  It's not very large, but that makes it the perfect size for the kids, who get bored of not being able to touch anything quickly.
