Homeschool Reading Fair

Last week, we participated in a reading fair hosted by our local homeschool group.

It's kind of like a science fair, but instead of presenting a science experiment, you present a book that you have read.

We decided to do Prince Caspian.  This was partly because Connor was taking part in a Minecraft Homeschool course based on that book, and partly because the boys just love it.

This is the display that we made.  The boys painted the whole thing with watercolors.

All of the best buildings from Connor's Minecraft assignments are pictured.  Unfortunately, only the outsides are pictured.  Each building has very intricate inside designs, many of which tunnel underground extensively.

They had a great time at the reading fair.  We looked at all the different displays, but I think they had the most fun running around and playing with all the other kids.

Lex told me that he can't wait for the next one.  But that he wants Connor to do all the work next time.
