Boys and their Toys

Connor and Lex always have their iPads nearby.



I guess that it only made sense that they would come up with a nickname for their constant companions.

So, for a while now, they have been referring to their iPads as I-Ps.

It's a little odd sounding, I'll admit.

"Hey Mom, have you seen my I-P?"

"I need a plug, my I-P is about to die!"

These are the things we hear around here.  Often.

Then, one day, Lex comes to me and says, "I've decided to name my iPad Dexter now."

I was both surprised and not surprised at all.  He's so good at coming up with names.

So, later that day, I asked what he and Dexter were up to.

And he says, "Oh, Mom.  I was only kidding with that whole Dexter thing."
