The First Night at Disneyland

After we were done at Sea World, we drove to our hotel at Disneyland.  We stayed in the Hilton that is right at the park, and after we checked into our room, we discovered that we could see both California Adventure and Disneyland right from our window.

We had purchased a Southern California City Pass for admission to Sea World and Disneyland and Universal Studios.  It was a great price, since we were planning to go to all the parks.  As a bonus, it was for three day's admission to Disneyland, and we were only planning on going for the next two days.

But...since we had a third day...and we could see the park right from our window...and Disney stays open so late at night...we decided to go ahead and walk over and start our Disney adventures...nevermind bedtime.

And it was magical.  Of course.

So we walked over to the Disney Grand Californian Hotel and went through the lobby and into the back entrance to the park there.  Which meant that we started in California Adventure.

We ended up spending the night mainly in Cars Land.  We love Cars so that's great.

The kids loved the Radiator Springs Racers.  They were so FAST.



I loved this hot dog shop.  The sign is hilarious.  We didn't actually eat anything, because it was about 10:30 at night, and we were on the way back to the hotel.  We ended up taking a taxi back to our room, because the kids were pooped.

It was the perfect start to our Disney trip.
