Summer Vacation Stories

This one time, over summer vacation, I took the kids to the Thinkery in Austin, which is a science/children's museum.  We had a wonderful time.

First we played in the water exploration area and got nice and wet.

Then we went outside to play on the massive climbing playground.

They played and climbed until they were dry, which didn't take too long, since it was at least 105 degrees.  In the shade.

Then we went back inside to play with the rest of the exhibits, and we had a ton of fun.

As we were leaving, they asked me to take their photo while they were riding the stone pigs near the entrance.  Why pigs?  I have no idea.
