Connor and Lex had their first soccer games of this season at exactly the same time.
So, they didn't get to watch each other play.
Fortunately, their fields were right next to each other, so Kevin and I were able to sit directly in between them and watch both games at the same time. We kept turning from one field to the other. It was like watching a tennis match. Only with less tennis and more soccer.
Both of the boys played really well. And they looked like they had a ton of fun.
Having fun and making friends is the more important bit here.
Lex got to play goalie for his team for a little while, which he really enjoyed.
