Guinness World Records Musuem

So this one time when we were in San Antonio, Connor asked me if we could go to the Guinness World Records Museum.  Did you know that it is right across the street from the Alamo?  How times change, am I right?

Well, so we went.

Connor loved it.  Love love.  Thrilled little boy.

See how excited he was?

The heaviest person weighed in at more than 1,400 lbs back in the 1970s.  Unbelievable!

About 30 seconds after I took this photo, Lex couldn't resist the shiny sparkles, and he reached out and touched Michael Jackson's jacket, setting off all sorts of scary alarms.  We booked it out of that exhibit room pretty quick, before anyone came to look for us, and I still have no idea what record this was all about.  Not that it really matters.  It's still pretty awesome.  And well protected, apparently.

Apparently the world's largest collection of gnomes totals 2,010 gnomes, and they reside in the UK.  I would kind of like to visit them in person.  Gnomes are cool.  Gnomie homies.
