Remember when we went to the Alamo last year?
We went again this summer. In fact, I think it's against the rules to go to San Antonio and not stop by the Alamo for a quick remembering.
I think this bronze line in the ground is the coolest monument. It's right in front of the door to the Alamo.
The plaque reads: "Legend states that in 1836 Lt. Co. William Barret Travis unsheathed his sword and drew a line on this ground before his battle-weary men stating: 'Those prepared to give their lives in freedom's cause come over to me!'"
