The Big Red Bus Tour

There is so much to see in San Francisco, so we decided to take a tour to make sure we saw as much of as it we could.  The double decker tour bus had a stop right in front of our hotel, so it was super convenient for us.

Another Big Bus!

We were all really excited about riding across the Golden Gate Bridge on the top of the bus.  We managed to do it on the only clear day we were in San Francisco.  But it was one of those things that was a good idea before we did it, and I'm really glad that we did do it, but we are never ever ever going to do that ever again.

You see, it was a moderate day, temperature wise.  We were warm in the sun and cool in the shade.  But, over the open water, the temperature was significantly colder.  And there was a strong wind coming from the bay.  And the bus was driving really fast.  So we were being thrashed about the top of the bus by very high speed, very cold winds.  It was definitely exciting!  It was definitely an experience.

And we definitely rode back across the bridge the second time inside the bottom level of the bus.

Once we were safely back on the slow, warm city streets, we moved back up to the top for the rest of the tour.
