This was Lex at 5:30 AM. He wanted to be awake so he could open presents, but he just couldn't.
Finally, sometime around 6, we got into the presents.
Connor asked for this NERF gun specifically because you can fan the hammer while shooting it.
I got Lex a Magic 8 Ball on a whim, and it turned out to be one of his favorite gifts.
Everyone bought the boys Pokemon cards. Because have you met them?
Kevin got computer parts, because, have you met him?
There were new personalized ornaments for 2016 from Grandma Ella and Papa Kirk.
Merry Christmas, Nana!
Lex also got a new NERF gun. The boys each got a new Pokemon game for their Nintendo DS. Connor got a new wooden chess set, Lex got Pie Face Showdown, and the whole family received Imploding Kittens, the first expansion to the card game Exploding Kittens, which we love and adore and play pretty much every day.
Merry Christmas, Uncle Kevin! And Tik!
As soon as I was done making the pecan pie, Kevin took over the entire kitchen table to start working putting together his new computer components.
Connor and Lex in their natural gaming habitat.
Here is a snippet of the boys opening their presents.
I think everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and I hope y'all did too!
Merry Christmas!!
