On Saturday, I took the boys to the Amarillo Museum of Art to see some paintings that are on display there temporarily. They are on loan from the private collection of Montgomery Ritchie, and even though I don't know anything else about him, I do know that he has excellent taste in art.
After we had seen all the art that was on display, we each picked our favorite things.

Lex, doing a very good impersonation of The Thinker, which he likes to do whenever we go to an art museum.
This was Lex's favorite thing at the art museum on Saturday.
After we were done at the museum, we stopped at the nearby park that has an excellent playground for climbing. It was a beautiful sunny day, and we quickly got too hot and decided to go to get some slushies and milkshakes from Sonic on the way home.
As Lex says, it was a good Satur-YAAAAY!
