This is just a little note about what we have been up to in the past few days. We have been reading a few silly picture books:

I read this book about the discovery of the language of the Ancient Egyptians with Connor and Lex:
Lex and Connor both started out reading these Capital Mysteries books, but after about 8 or 10 of them, Connor got bored, because each book is pretty much the same. The two main characters discover some troublesome plot in the nation's capital, and then after some close calls, they solve it and there is a happy ending. Lex still loves them, and he has read them all. Some of them he has read a few times.
