Grandma Ella brought the boys some bubble wands shaped like little pirate swords when she came to visit. Think plastic daggers that just happened to have bubbles inside.
The kids were not as interested in the bubbles as they were the swords. Honestly, I'm not sure why she didn't see that one coming. If you give a little boy a sword, he is going to stab someone with it.
And thus ended the bubble swords.
