We bowled and we ordered food and we ate giant soft pretzels and burgers and french fries.
After we were done bowling, we played for a while in the arcade. There were a few games of air hockey, as well as some attempts at the giant claw machine that dispenses entire rolls of tickets. Kris and Lauren won first, a roll of 900 tickets! Then, Connor picked up four rolls at once, each one worth 75 tickets.
The kids have never had so many tickets to spend all at once. The first idea that Lex had was to spend it all on the 2 ticket tootsie rolls, but I shot that idea down because I didn't want the kid working the counter to hate us. Also, no one needs all the tootsie rolls at the bowling alley. In the end, they decided to save their tickets. They each got a cheap whoopie cushion and called it a day. We shall see what they end up with later.
P.S. Connor's whoopie cushion didn't even make it all the way home. He ended up breaking it while playing with it in the car. Lex's lasted almost an entire day. I had no idea that whoopie cushions were so fragile, but apparently they are. You get what you pay for, I guess. Which was like 25 tickets.
