SE Homeschool Expo 2018

I was pleased to find out that a major homeschool expo takes place in Atlanta every year, and I decided to take the boys with me this year to check it out.

The boys found lots of great things to do, like this climbing wall.

Connor took part in a chess tournament.

I believe he won two games, lost two games, and tied twice.

While Connor was busy playing chess, Lex and I explored the vendor hall.

Lex also played for a while in a giant pile of Legos while I went to look at curriculum.

After Connor was done playing chess, we took him to see some of our favorite booths.  Then, we all went down the last aisle that we needed to explore together.

Not only did the kids have a good time, but I was able to purchase some books and things that we will use in the upcoming school year at a discounted price (which is the point of these expos, right?) and I was able to look at some different books to help me decide on some new curriculum options for Connor, as he is beginning middle school this coming year.  I think our trip to the expo was a success.
