Cafe Du Monde and Candy

Our last few orders of business in New Orleans were all food related.

We had already had beignets at Cafe Beignet, but we hadn't had any from Cafe Du Monde yet.

The entire menu at Cafe Du Monde consists of black coffee, coffee with milk, and beignets.

Then, we found an awesome little candy store and bought New Orleans style pralines.  We also got saltwater taffy and caramels.

Everything was delicious.  All weekend long.

Any time we asked someone what we should do in New Orleans, their answer always involved food.  Someone told us that if we didn't gain five pounds, we weren't doing it right.  The food in New Orleans is a huge deal.
