Stone Mountain Highland Games

This afternoon I took the boys to Stone Mountain for the annual Highland Games.  It was amazing. There were feats of strength and skill.  There were dancers and bagpipes.  There were kilts everywhere!

The first thing we did was visit a food truck from the United Kingdom.  I was proud of the kids.  They both tried new and foreign foods, even though there were food trucks from Chick Fil-A and Nathan's Hot Dogs.  I had a meat pie.  Lex had fish and chips.  Connor ate a sausage roll.

The second order of business was to find a sword.  Lex required a sword.  Immediately.

Then we headed to the Children's Games so that the boys could try out some feats of skill and strength.

This entire event was so amazing.  I think we are certainly going to be going back to the Stone Mountain Highland Games next year.
