It was Mother's Day.
Connor isn't taller than me. Yet.
The boys made me breakfast. A caramel latte and some European pancakes.
And they bought me a necklace!
We went out to eat at Twisted Taco.
The brisket taco and fried cauliflower taco were both amazing.
The chicken taco was too spicy for me to be able to eat it.
Lex had it instead.
We ate our dinner in a jail cell.
There was a television and Connor was extra impressed that the remote was left on the table so that we could change the channel ourselves.
Afterwards, we went to the mall and walked around for a while. There was a carousel.
Lex rode the ostrich.
Then, we saw all these kids riding on these cool animals down towards one end of the mall. We finally found the kiosk that rented them, and Lex got to go for a ride, too.
I'm not sure exactly how fast these things can go, but Connor had to jog to keep up.
Finally, we got some boba tea.
Happy Mother's Day!
