It's Wabbit Season

Kevin went hunting!

And he brought us home some dinner.

So, I had to figure out how to cook it.

I read about 6 recipes, and then I made one up.

First, I marinated the meat with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, and rosemary.

Then, I put it in a pot with butter to brown both sides.

I added onions, fennel and garlic cloves.

Also some vegetable broth.

After everything was nicely browned, I added baby carrots and put the lid on it.

And I stuck it in the oven while I made mashed potatoes.

I cooked it for a very exact time.  

You know, until the house smelled good and the mashed potatoes were done.

Then, we had a feast.

Everyone liked it.

Good job to the hunter and the recipe inventor.
