Redstone Academy Weekly (or so) Update

Next week might be Spring Break.  Or it might be the week after next.  The kids are still deciding.  I think they want to poll their online friends to see who they will be able to play with the most depending on the date they choose.  I suppose they don't have to decide until Monday.  Homeschool is flexible that way.

On Monday, Connor and I watched For Whom the Bell Tolls.  It's a movie from 1943 about the Spanish Civil War, based on the book by Ernest Hemingway.  Connor has been joking about the length and pacing of the movie all week.  It's the new standard for all things long and drawn out.

This week, we finished our Writing and Rhetoric Book.  Book 8: Comparison is done.

Essay by Lex (You can read it better if you click on it.)

The final assignment was a comparison of the love letters of John Keats and Napoleon.  Lex was not thrilled with the love letter thing.

We will start the next book either on Monday or after Spring Break.  It depends on when we have Spring Break, really.
