We went to the park by our house early this morning to claim a spot for the 4th of July festival.
Lex and I played a little Russian roulette at the splash pad.
He stayed dry. I did not. But it was hot, so the water was a welcome surprise.
We played some checkers and Uno together.
It turns out that I am really bad at checkers.
We had a picnic lunch from KFC, and we ate from various food trucks for dinner.
I got falafel and a salad from the Greek truck, and some fried plantains topped with pulled pork and mozzarella from the Cuban truck. Everything was delicious.
