A Thousand Ships

Today I finished reading a book.

It was excellent! It is the story of the Trojan War, told from the point of view of all of the female characters that are mostly side notes in other versions of the story. My favorite chapters were the ones written as letters from Penelope to Odysseus. I also really liked the chapters that were told from Cassandra's point of view, since her visions let her see both the past and future, and places that she never physically visited. It was a really great storytelling device.

I give this book an A+, and if you like Greek mythology, I do recommend it.
