Second Kenya Comics

Before his death, Mr. Koch was an undergrad instructor at Columbia. (He apparently refused to teach grad students, becuase he felt that they weren't imaginitive enough anymore.) One of his assignments was for students to go out and buy a comic book that they had never read, and then have a friend paste white paper over all of the dialogue bubbles, so that they couldn't read them. Then, the students had to write in a poem in the bubbles based upon the pictures. That sounds like a ton of fun, and I might try it the next time I find myself near a comic book store
