So, as I'm sure you have all heard (because I talk about it all the time), I am working on a blanket for my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary next month. I am more than 2/3 done with it now, but here is the first picture of the blanket.
The design is going to be their last name, and right now you are looking at the letter "U" and the beginning of the letter "P." When doing embroidery, you start in the middle and work towards the edges, that way the design is centered.
