Well, I told you that I wanted to watch the BBC version of Bleak House after I finished reading the book, and the very next time I went into the library, the DVD was sitting on a display shelf, so I snatched it up and took it home.
It was very well done, but it was 8 hours long. Kevin groaned every time I turned it back on, and he kept asking me when it was going to be over.
But, I really liked it. I think that the BBC always does such a good job of bringing books to life. Do you remember the BBC version of the Chronicles of Narnia? Those were great. And the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice is the best ever.
By the way, does anyone know if Disney is planning to make any of the other Narnia books into movies? Didn't they make a fortune on The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe?
