I've been so wrapped up in myself that I have forgotten to say that I had a really great birthday. The celebration seemed to last all weekend. Kevin and I ate at a new restaurant by our house on Friday night, Butch's Italian Cafe. It was pretty good.
On Saturday, we had some friends over and watched the Ohio State football game, and then we all went to a corn maze, which was fun, but cold and dark and muddy. And I had to pee. But, afterwards, we rented the Exorcism of Emily Rose from Blockbuster and watched that. Which was fun.
Kevin bought me a Chocolate phone for my birthday, and it's totally great. I'm still learning how to use all the bells and whistles, though, because there are a lot.
Trick or treating on Halloween, while not technically a birthday activity, does always happen around my birthday, and was fun. We sat on the porch and passed out candy. When we were ready to go inside, Kevin dumped the rest of the bowl into a little girl's bag. Her eyes were so big, and she giggled and giggled. Her mom looked at us like we were crazy, but we still had unopened bags of candy in the house, and we just wanted to get rid of it. The rain and the cold kept a lot of kids in, I think.
And, since I'm already here, I might as well let you know that we went to the Columbus Bluejackets game last night. We didn't stay for the whole thing, as I was tired and our team was losing, but it was fun. Neither one of us had been before, and Kevin had gotten the tickets for free from work.
