So, I've been sitting at my desk this morning, working and eating grapes from a bowl that I brought from home. I was eating the next to the last grape, with the last grape in my hand, when I looked into the bottom of the bowl and saw a wet (from where I had washed the grapes this morning), dead (probably drowned) spider underneath the various grape stems that were left.
This didn't freak me out nearly as much as I think it should have. I didn't spit out the half-chewed grape in my mouth, my blood pressure didn't go up, and I didn't feel like throwing up, which is almost a miracle, since that's how I've been feeling pretty much all the time lately.
I didn't eat the last grape on principle, though. But, I guess since the spider was dead, it couldn't hurt me, and since it was still in the bowl, I didn't eat it. So, it's not too bad, right?
Besides, doesn't the average human eat something like 7 spiders in their lifetime, while sleeping, or something like that, anyways?
