After waiting and waiting, I finally got to see Silent Hill. Even though Sean Bean was in it, it was a spectacularly bad movie. What was with the ending? Can anyone shed some light on that for me? I really didn't get it, but wasn't surprised by that, because the rest of the movie seemed sort of disjointed.
How was it possible to turn Resident Evil into such a great movie, when this one still looked and sounded like a video game?
On a semi-related note, I, who love horror movies, am still creeped out by The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Isn't it odd how certain movies just stay with us, waiting for us to lay down at night, to come back to mind and creep us out? The last movie before this one that was like that for me was Butterfly Effect. (We watched the director's cut, instead of the movie theater version.)
