Random Mondayness

Tonight is the big Ohio State game, and even though I usually go to bed around 8:30 or 9:00 these days, which is when the game will be starting, my boss gave me tomorrow morning off, so I might try to stay up to watch it, and then sleep in.
Go Bucks!
I started working on the baby blanket last night. The first time I started it, the stitching was too tight, so it was going to be about half as wide as it is supposed to be. So, I tore it all apart, and started again. The second time I got the stitch spacing right, and I'm on my way now!
On Christmas Eve, Kevin put the ham bone (with plenty of meat on it) out on the back porch for all the neighborhood kittens to eat. This was after he and his brother had been throwing shrimp out the back window for them. Now, those kittens (which have gotten much bigger since the summer) think that our back windows are like magical food doors, and they sniff them and sit and stare in at us all day, waiting for another tasty bit of food. It is really funny. Kevin tried to feed them a bit of fruit yesterday at breakfast, but they didn't like it, and it was still sitting there at dinner time. There are so many cats now, after the two litters of kittens last summer, and since we never did anything about them, I can't imagine how many more new kittens there will be next summer. But, I kinda like them, as they are very entertaining, and the neighbor takes care of feeding them and putting out litter for them.
