38 Weeks Pregnant

This is from my "38 Weeks Pregnant" e-mail newsletter that I received this morning:

Your due date is coming up soon, and your baby's just waiting for the right time to be born. His lungs and brain are developed enough for him to function now but will continue to mature right into childhood. Take it easy during the final week or so - this may be your last opportunity to relax!

So, today I have a doctor's appointment, and I think that's going to be just about all I do. Other than stop by the library and pick up a movie that I have waiting for me. I requested Little Miss Sunshine ages ago, and it has finally come in!

Other than that, I've decided that there are a few things that a 38 week pregnant me wants and needs to have:

1. I need to buy a baby book that I like enough to actually write in

2. I want Kevin to do a little remodeling in the baby's bathroom (I want a shower head with a hose so that I can use it easily down in the tub for baths and a new cabinent installed under the sink, as there isn't one there now). Do you think he can do it before the baby comes, and without stressing me out or making a mess? Ha! Maybe we'll just skip it for now. :)

3. I want Kevin to hang the curtains that I made for the baby's room!

4. Chocolate. On that note, I'm off to the kitchen. :)
